pixabay.comThird Russian Film Days started in the capital of India, RIA Novosti informs. The gala ceremony of the cinema forum with participation of Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky, Russian Ambassador to India Nikolai Kudashev and filmmakers from India and Russia took place the day before at the closed discussion panel New Delhi Siri Fort.

Ambassador Kudashev in his greeting message reminded the audience about ancient traditions of cooperation in the field of cinema between our countries and noted that Russian film festival is closely connected to 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and India.

The Bolshoi movie by Valery Todorovsky opened The Russian Film Days.

One of the large cinema forum organizers Maria Lemesheva has commented that 12 movies will be presented to the Indian audience at the forum, such as Attraction, Dislike, etc. Apart from New Delhi, demonstrations will take place in Mumbai, Goa where our novices will be presented at 48th Indian International Film Festival.
