Russian Language Olympiad conducted in Israel

First round of the Forth Russian Language Olympiad for schoolkids has completed in Israel. The event is conducted by Israel Center of Kids Creativity Support together with Rossotrudnichestvo branch in Israel with support of Russkiy Mir Foundation. The goal is to preserve and promote Russian language and culture in this country among young generation. 

More than 1000 schoolkids from 7 to 18 years old from the South, North and Central regions of Israel took part in the first round of the contest.

The final tour will engage participants from Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Beersheba, Haifa, and other cities. All of them study in Russian centers or evening schools.

The award ceremony will happen in Russian Cultural Centre on December 7th. Best students as well as best Russian language teachers to be awarded. Winners of the contest will be granted with Russia tour in the frames of Cultural and Educational project Hello, Russia!
