Russia develops cooperation with South Korea in field of education

Zhanna BallodUniversities of Russia and South Korea continue cooperation. A memorandum of collaboration was signed between Seokyeong University and Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration of the Russian Federation the day before. The gala ceremony took place during the visit of Russian University to Seoul.

Besides, guests from Russia took part in seminar and round-table dedicated to modern methods of improving educational process in higher educational institutions.

Seoul University spokesmen talked about their experience in organizing and conducting various campaigns and events targeted at students’ career development, including the programme of university career guidance camp.

Korean students studying Russian prepared a presentation about their project on provision of translation and interpretation services in Russian. Applying the skills of Russian obtained at the University, young people managed to translate and dub into Korean Russian educational videos for children. Besides, they plan to work with tourists from Russia in the course of Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang 2018.

South Korean and Russian experts agreed to continue experience exchanges. Students were invited to take part in contest under title Accelerator of social initiatives RAISE in Moscow.
