Center for discrediting Crimea is discovered

06.11.2017

Anton Novoderezhkin/TASSCrimean Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Polonsky has officially informed that special center created for discrediting the peninsula has been discovered in Ukraine, TASS informs.

“The center was opened in Kiev. Its goal is to publish fake news on Crimea and its authorities, - specified Polonsky. - Of course they are doing this in the run-up to President's elections.”

According to Polonsky, journalists were the first who discovered this center curated by Ukrainian and Western special services. Anti-Crimean center has very good financing, and tries to involve public people who reside in Crimea.

“Some people they will use secretly, some – in the open, but in any case “Who is aware - is armed!”, as the saying goes,” - said Crimean Deputy Prime-Minister.

Polonsky has reminded that similar centers exist in Europe. Not long ago the head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov has claimed that there's a major information war started against the peninsula. This war engages “both special services and government structures of Ukraine and some other countries.”

Aksenov called Crimea inhabitants and in particular bloggers and journalists to be very attentive to differentiate constructive criticism from targeted media strategies.
