Putin, Rouhani and Aliyev agree on cooperation

Russian President AdministrationMoscow, Baku and Teheran plan closer interaction in the fields of energetics and petroleum industry, RIA Novosti informs. This statement was made by Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia, Hassan Rouhani of Iran and Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan during their meeting in the capital of Iran the day before.

The document focuses on great significance of three countries to secure stability of regional and global energy markets. The parties approved of the project on three-party joint power networking and agreements on electric power sales.

The heads of states have noticed development of the three-party cooperation. In their opinion, it is necessary to understand the level of relations between Iranian, Russian and Azerbaijanian parliaments and governments.

Besides, the leaders have talked about importance of mutual steps on setting more active ties in trade and economics as well as necessity of visa regime simplification.
Another topic of negotiations was the situation around the Caspian Sea. The countries intend to collaborate in the field of multimodal transportation, marine tourism and preservation of water bio resources. According to them, the Caspian region should stay a region of peace, friendship and security.
