Young Compatriots from 40 countries meet in Moscow

DELFI5th World Congress of Young Compatriots starts in Moscow, as per Rosyouth website reports. Russian youth as well as more than a hundred young people aged from 18 to 30 from forty countries of the world came to Moscow to take part in the congress. Federal Agency for Youth Affairs initiated and organized the event. The forum is supported by Department for Interaction with Compatriots Abroad, Russian Foreign Ministry and Interdepartmental Council for Youth Affairs of the Governmental Committee for Compatriots’ Affairs living Abroad.

The main purpose of the forum is to create a united circle of young compatriots living abroad bound by an idea of unity of the Russian nation. An extensive educational and discussion programme is scheduled for the participants from November 1 – 5. They will discuss questions of international cooperation and perspectives of development of social organizations, which involve young compatriots.
The main theme of the topical grounds will be discussed in a format of lectures, discussions and cultural-leisure activities. Young compatriots will take part in the meeting dedicated to celebration of the National Unity Day.

The State Duma Deputy Konstantin Zatulin, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Oleg Malginov, Director of International Youth Center Rosyouth Alexey Lyubtsev as well as other politicians and public figures will make presentations.

A final resolution outlining key problems and sketches will be drawn up at the gala closing ceremony.

As per the Russkiy Mir Foundation, the World Topical Conference of Russian Youth is to take place in Moscow today with participation of representatives of more than 90 countries.
