The Russian architectural bureau Project Meganom has won the contest for construction of 305-meter skyscraper with a viewing point in its upper part. The head of the bureau Yuri Gregorian answering journalists’ questions has noted that the project authors did not want this unique building to be too high and the architects made everything possible to secure the best panoramic view of New York out of the windows.

The authors took into the consideration the fact that Empire State Building is located near the construction site of the ultra-thin sky-scraper-to-be, so the height of the skyscraper should not exceed the level of Manhattan dominating structure’s viewing point.

It should be reminded that Project Meganom took part in such a prestigious contest at the beginning of June. It is noteworthy that this project is the first experience of operating at the US market for the architectural bureau and the victory at the contest has become a pleasant surprise for them.
