French-Russian partnership in educational sphere discussed in Paris

Rectors of the leading universities of Russia and France are taking part in the event. In the nearest two days, participants will discuss interaction of university sciences at the digital epoch, questions of university environment development and mutual projects.

Meetings between rectors of several universities of Russia and France are planned at the conference. Participants will try to find balance between traditional academic freedoms and managing education by the state bodies. However, universities’ management agrees that tasks of contemporary fundamental sciences demand a new approach to the questions of education.

Russia's Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Rectors of Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, People’s Friendship University of Russia and MEPhI as well as professors and teachers from some universities of our country represent Russia at the conference.
