fanparty.ruPresentation of official hymn of the World Festival of Youth and Students took place in Moscow, TASS informs. Lyrics and music were written by Russian musician Alexei Vorobyev. He became its first performer. Swedish record producer RedOne who won the prestigious Grammy award twice was an author of music arrangement and remix.

The musical composition itself was named Only Love Matters. According to the organizers, it is sung in two languages – Russian and English. Authors tried to enclose all main ideas of the festival movement into it, including ideals of friendship, peace, international solidarity and love.

As per the singer, modern youth practically has neither limits in communications, nor time difference of national or racial identity. Alexei Vorobyev is sure that it is impossible to deceive the young people.

The musician believes that any person, no matter where he comes from, can look up on the Internet and understand that Russia is one of the most respected and dynamically developing countries with its leader and its own history. The musician RedOne shared that he together with his team wanted to write a song uniting people about kindness and understanding, a song that gives hope where the most important word is love.

It is worth reminding that the festival starts this weekend already. Total number of applications from abroad exceeded fifty thousand. Russian young people sent more than sixty-two thousand applications. Twenty thousand people are planning to take part in the festival, where ten thousand people come from abroad and the second half comes from Russia.

Trips around regions of Russia are planned for foreign guests for the first time. This programme will provide an opportunity for two thousand foreign guests to visit around fifteen Russian cities.
