125th anniversary of poet Marina Tsvetaeva is celebrated

Flickr/zhulanchik125th anniversary of Russian poet Marina Tsvetaeva was celebrated with over 100 events in Russia and abroad, TASS reports. Marina Tsvetaeva was born on October, 8 1892 in Moscow.

One of the greatest 20th century Silver Ager poets' anniversary is celebrated with readings and festivals. Ahead of this date the sales of her books have grown twice, Moscow Book House has reported. According to the sales network's representative, Marina Tsvetaeva stays always among the most required Russian writers.

Marina Tsvetaeva celebrations took part in many libraries of Moscow and St. Petersburg. Lectures, concerts, documentary film screenings, new monographs' presentations devoted to the greatest Russian female poet involved audience of varios ages and cultural backgrounds.

Actors of the youth theater Les Partisans from Izhevsk will conduct To Live Like I Write poetic reading tomorrow. Ulianovsk inhabitants would have chance to attend musical-poetry performance Marina Tsvetaeva. Between Love and Love.
