The Tower of Babel in Wroclaw

02.10.2017

Various activities devoted to foreign languages arranged at the last week of September became a good tradition. Russian center of Wroclaw University takes part in all annual city events and prepares its own programme.

Day of Languages started with a language game where each team was representing one of the languages (there were eight of them this year). Each team had to find all language points and complete a task in each of them. Multilanguage show The Tower of Babel continued the celebration.

Days of Languages ended up with the event called Language Café, where everybody could come up to the stand representing its own language. The visitors of the Russian language stand could ask any questions about different aspects of life in Russia, speak Russian, take part in language games and quizzes as well as treat themselves with Russian sweets.

Apart from participation in all city events, Russian center of Wroclaw University prepared its own programme. The Small Prince kindergarden held Days of Russia in three senior groups.

Besides, there were two meetings for everybody. One of them was dedicated to Siberia; the other one was about school education in Russia.

Several master classes for lyceum students, especially for those who just started to learn Russian, are planned in October.
