Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia Archpastors, Bishop Panteleimon of Orekhovo-Zuyevo, the head of the Moscow Patriarchate's Administration for Institutions Abroad Bishop Antony and other important ministers were present at the ceremony.

More than twenty priests prayed together with parishioners during the Divine Liturgy that opened the celebration. After the Liturgy has finished, Archbishop Mark of Berlin has read the welcoming letter from Archbishop Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations.

Charity dinner and sacred music concert have finished the event. The event organizers praised those believers who participated in the Cathedral restoration process.

It's worth mentioning that the Cathedral of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross has always been the favorite place for Orthodox believers from Geneva and around. The Russian community parishioners have made a big effort to preserve Russian traditions in Switzerland.
