Revolution in Art exhibition opens in Greece

pixabay.comRevolution in Art exhibition opening is prepared to be opened in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is devoted to the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution, website of Coordinating Counsil of Russian Compatriots reports. Its opening is timed with the 52nd cultural festival Dimitria.

According to organizers exposition reveals fine arts development and influences in the beginning of the 20th century. Showpieces include the brightest examples of Russian artistic movements such as constructivism, cubism, suprematism and futurism.

Along with art, historical literature, films and photographs will immerse into atmosphere of that complicated epoch. Spectators will see works of such authors as Malevich, Mayakovsky, Eisenstein, and photographs of Russia's everyday scenes from the life – from the Tsar's court to the peasant cultivating the fields.
