Schoolchildren will follow Emperor’s Route joining Tsar Residences

Flickr/Justin VidamoNew national tourist project under title Emperor’s Route will appear in Russia, the website of Russian Ministry of Culture reports. Its presentation took place in Moscow as a part of tourist exhibition Vacation-2017.

Emperor’s Route is a joint project of Ministry of Culture and Elizabeth-Sergiev Educational Society. According to Deputy Culture Minister Alla Manilova, its primary purpose is upbringing of young generation.

The route will follow traces of the Emperor’s family including well-known grand-ducal country estates and various Emperor’s residences. Besides, the route will encompass the places of the Romanovs’ pilgrimage. This list includes various regions of our country from Crimea to Syktyvkar.

The first tourists on the Emperor’s route are to become pupils of Russian schools. The Deputy Minister has added that the route is integrated with national programme of children’s tourism.

Alla Manilova has also expressed assuredness that the route will be in high demand among foreign guests too.

The first stage of the national tourist project’s implementation is Route in Commemoration of the Emperor’s Family-2018. It combines the cities where members of the Emperor’s family suffered, such as Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Perm, Ekaterinburg, Alapaevsk, Tobolsk and Tyumen.
