Amber tourism is to be popularized in Kaliningrad region, RIA Novosti reports. According to regional authorities, the region has all chances for successful promotion of this type of tourism. A particular strategy has been developed for this purpose until 2025. Authors of the strategy note that Russia is quite behind other countries in this aspect. Our country does not use cultural significance of the amber in full to promote products of its processing which could increase visibility of the region as the amber production and processing center for tourists.
