Russian Ministry of CultureVisit Russia National Tourist Office in London started preparations for the World Football Cup, IA Interfax informs. Specialized information center for travelers interested in football was opened there. A per Russian experts, they get many requests from football fans planning to travel to Russia to see the World Cup. The majority of questions is about logistics, for example, procedures of purchasing airplane tickets internationally and around Russia, documents required to get a visa, hotel to choose and book, etc.

All information can be obtained by visiting the office in person or by telephone call. At this, additional information about sights of cities where football matches are to be organized, what other places to visit is also available.

According to Director of Visit Russia UK Alexei Cherepanov, they need to change a stereotype created after the European Football Championships. He has explained that the office staff tell people what security measures exist for the football fans.
