Bolshoi Ballet dancers shine on Buenos Aires stage

Yulia Stepanova, Denis Rodkin / DanceTabsBolshoi Theatre dancers have performed on the stage of Coliseo Theater in Buenos Aires, Argentina, TASS informs. Principal dancers of Bolshoi Denis Rodkin and Julia Stepanova have presented fragments from the Swan Lake and La Bayadere ballets.

The member of The Royal Swedish Ballet, prize-winner at the All-Russia contest “The leader of the year” Dmitry Zagrebin have performed Acteon's pas de deus from La Esmeralda. His partner, famous American prima Isabella Boylston has performed the Diana part.

Denis Rodkin has noted that he learned a lot from arguably the most important Argentine dancer Julio Bocca, who worked for the American Ballet troupe for 20 years. “I knew him when I was very little. He has always impressed me, and even now inspires me a lot,” stressed the Russian ballet dancer.
