Russian Village Day to be celebrated in Tver region

pixabay.comRussian Village Day to be celebrated in Tver region, Interfax reports. the celebration will take place in Esemovo village of the Rjzev district, and will last from 21 to 23 July.

According to the head of region Igor Rudeni, this festival is unique because it is one of the kind. The official has reminded that this event is included in the tourism development plan of Tver region.

The festival is full of various events, like fishermen and ploughmen competitions, Russian folk songs contests, historical reconstruction happening, arts and crafts town educational tour for adults and kids. Needless to mention, there will be an organic foods market as well.

There will be cooking master classes for Russian cuisine fans who will learn from zero how to cook exactly following traditional Russian recipes.

The festival will conclude with light and sound pyrotechnic show.
