Concern Kalashnikov and Kuban University open joint scientific center

Concern Kalashnikov has launched the research scientific center based at the Kuban State University. This center will focus on the robotics design, TASS reports.

According to the concern director Aleksey Krivoruchko, the new high-end structure of Kuban University will help to develop and produce new innovative products of the company.

The heads of both university and the concern plan to create a new kind of project-oriented educational process. The main fields will include machine management, robotics, programming, and vision inspection .

Aleksey Krivoruchko has marked that Concern Kalashnikov plans to grant best students with personalized scholarships, and invite them to a traineeship with possible subsequent employment.

It is worth mentioning that Concern Kalashnikov is a largest Russian manufacturing company producing 95% of all small arms in Russia and supplying them to more than 27 countries.
