2018 announced Russian- Japanese Cultural exchange year

2018 is announced Russian-Japanese Cultural exchange year, TASS reports. Corresponding document was signed by Vladimir Putin. The main topic of this action is further relationship development between two countries.

The work of the joint coordination committee will lead First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov , and special representative of the Russian President for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy will coordinate the committee's work.

As we informed earlier, the decision to conduct Russian Japanese cross year was taken during the talks of Vladimir Putin with Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe. Conducted in Japan, Russian Seasons Festival covers 42 cities. It has opened last month with the Bolshoi theater performances

Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic also participates in Russian Seasons.
Andrey Konchalovsky has brought to Japan his last feature Paradise, and Russian Hermitage organised Old Masters exhibition. There are 50 events planned in total.
