Russia was ranked among the top three most popular countries-hosts to conduct FIFA World Cup, RIA Novosti reports. One of the key criteria of the rating is an average attendance rate.

FIFA World Cup 2017 organizers informed that around 80% Russian tribunes are full with spectators. By this competition parameter Russia is outdone only by Germany and Brazil. Football is like a cult in these greatest soccer nations, and since the middle of 20th century they show the best results at the World Cups.

As of today, 8 football matches have been held at the FIFA World Cup that has started on June 17th.

The next game will happen tomorrow, June 24 in Kazan city. Russian and Mexican players will fight to get to the first semi-finals. The winner is going to meet with the reigning world champion, the national team of Germany.
