Vakhtangov theatre is on North America tour

FacebookVakhtangov theatre is going on US tour, TASS reports. It brings Uncle Vanya by Chekhov, staging director is Rimas Tuminas.

First performance will take place in New York on June 15th as a part of the Cherry Orchard Arts Festival. The tour will continue in Boston, and finish in Toronto.

Vakhtangov theatre is to participate for the first time in Luminato festival. It is one of the most important international multi-arts, multi-platform events, that cuts across traditional art form boundaries. https://luminatofestival.com/

Sergey Makovetsky, Vladimir Simonov, Lyudmila Maksakova and other famous actors are members of the troupe.

Let us remind you that two years ago Vakhtangov theatre has brought to the North America tour the other Rimas Tuminas staging, Eugine Onegin.
