Russian sportsmen became European Diving Champions

Anna Chuynyshena and Yulia Timoshinina won silver and bronze medals at the European Diving Championships organized in Kiev, TASS reports. Our sportsmen specializing in 10-meter height water jumping were serious competitors of the distinguished British water jumper Lu Tulson who became a Champion of Europe getting 330,75 scores.

The winner of Russian Championship held a month ago, young Anna Chuynyshena, did not get just several points to win. She had to be satisfied with the silver medal yielding less than three points to Tulson. Yulia Timoshinina got 313,30 scores and the third place at the Championships.

Russian divers Nadezhda Bazhina and Victor Minibayev received 366,1 in total managing to win bronze awards in team competitions the day before.

Overall, more than 120 sportsmen from 23 countries are competing for 13 sets of awards in Kiev.
