Sokurov is also invited to be a honored guest at the next prize-giving ceremony in the European Film Academy.

Aleksander Sokurov is claimed to be Russia's most distinguished living film-maker. He has made more than 15 features and several dozens documentaries. Sokurov received many prizes on the most prestigious festivals around the world. He will celebrate 66 years birthday on July, 14th.
