Fb/Cathédrale russe Sainte-TrinitéRussian President together with the Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo paid a visit to Russian language school in Paris the day before, TASS informs. This school is based at the Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Center found on Quai Branly.

Let us remind that yesterday Vladimir Putin visited Paris. He had a meeting with his French colleague and also visited the Peter the Great's exhibition in Versailles.

According to the head of the Russian Classical Gymnasium, Yulia Rebinder, the kids recited Alexander Pushkin poetry and presented their artworks to the distinguished guests. Mrs Rebinder has advised to the guests that kids and adults take Russian language classes in the Centre following contemporary methodologies. At the end of the meeting kids took a memory picture with politicians.

As the director of Pushkin Institute in Paris Tatiana Sokolova has noted, Russian language is taught in 400 French Colleges and lyceums. As of today, many people take courses at various continuing-education centers proposing intensive Russian language programs. Tatiana Sokolova is sure that creation of the Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Center has promoted French-Russian cultural dialogue.
