10 features and 5 shorts represented Russian cinema of 2000s at the Russian film festival in Verona, Italy. The event comes to Italy for the 8th time, with support of Russkiy Mir Foundation. 

In Palazzo della Gran Guardia located in the heart of the city the quantity of film lovers exceeded the number of seats. According to Antonio Falcone, the honorary counsel of Russia in Verona and the president of Russian association in Verona Conoscere Eurasia, the event called success due to the fact that movies are focused on contemporary issues, and also thanks to the central and beautiful movie theater location.
