Putin: Russia intends closer interaction with China

Russia is not afraid of Chinese expansion into the market of our country, Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed in the course of his presentation at One Belt, One Way Forum, RIA Novosti informs. Russia does not look like a country that fears anything, the head of state explained. Besides, Beijing does not aim at the Russian economy’s take over. Russian leader has added that Moscow is going to expand collaboration with China.

Putin has reminded that the countries interact in the space filed quite successfully and are likely to expand the collaboration in this direction in future as well. According to Russian President, supply of rocket engines produced in Russia to China is being discussed at present.

Besides, Vladimir Putin has underlined that there is a current mutual project of constructing a wide-body jet. Over the last three decades Russian experts has created a brand new product able to compete at the international market, which is an engine of average thrust. Now the question of constructing an engine of large thrust is discussed, which would make it possible to create a wide-body jet.

Earlier, President has noted that Russia supports One Belt, One Way project and is going to take an active part in it.
