pixabay.comRussia and Israel will not change their point of view regarding reconsideration of WWII results. Russian President Vladimir Putin and The Head of Government of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu made this statement in course of the phone conversation initiated by Israel, according to TASS.

Both countries leaders have underlined that it is impossible to allow any detraction of the decisive contribution made by the Soviet people into the Victory over Fascism and rejection of the Holocaust.

Israeli Prime Minister extended his congratulations with another anniversary of the Great Victory to Vladimir Putin and to all people of Russia.

Moreover, they touched upon a range of important aspects in Russian-Israeli collaboration including situation on the Middle East and the Syrian crisis.

It is worth reminding that the day before a festive march in honor of 72nd anniversary of the Great Victory was held in Jerusalem. The Immortal Regiment action was joined by veterans, survivors of the Leningrad siege, concentration camps’ prisoners and ex-Soviet Union natives – descendants of people liberating European countries from German Fascist invaders. Diplomats of different countries, authorities’ representatives and young generations of Israel took part in the action.

Jerusalem campaign became the most numerous one in Israel. Several thousand people coming from various parts of the country took part in it. They were not frightened by either 30 degrees’ heat or the fact that it was a working day in their country.
