The Immortal Regiment will march through 11 US states

Flickr/San Sanuch Russian Immortal Regiment WW2 march in honor of the Victory Day will be held in eleven states and twenty cities in America. It is arranged for the third time already and its geography has been sharply broadened this year, as per TASS.

The organizer of the campaign in America Igor Kochan has satisfactorily remarked that already more than twenty cities confirmed their participation in this march. The Immortal Regiment will cover all the US territory – from the eastern to the western coasts. Moreover, the organizers suppose that other cities and states may join them in the rest of time.

Marches with participation of veterans will be organized in New York, San Francisco and Washington.

Seattle, Philadelphia, Detroit, Orlando, Portland and other cities joined the campaign this year. Organizers noticed that Russian compatriots living in US as well as Native Americans interested in the history of World War II would take part in the march this year.
