Music school in Marburg celebrates 15 years anniversary

When this school has just opened not many people beleived that it will successfully function all these years. By now more than 1,000 students studied different spetialities there. Presently, Classica is well-known also outside Marburg.

There was a special concert celebrating the school jubileum. Pianist Alexander Esterlein played Chopin etude, and violinist Oxana Rör performed few pieces of contemporary authors. then young generation made the stage appearance. The audience admired 7 year old pianist Thomas Paskal.

Ober Burgomaster of the Marburg Thomas Schepis has stated that he is very impressed with young musicians' level that matches high standards of professional performance.

The music school director Nina Rippe revealed the education secret: most of highly-qualified teachers are Russians trained in traditional Soviet music schools. Of course parents and their kids eager to get the best of the inherited Soviet music school traditions.
