Exhibition From Stalingrad to Bratislava opens in Bratislava

Moving photo exhibition From Stalingrad to Bratislava opens in Slovakia capital. The exhibition is dedicated to Soviet people and Chechoslovakia citizens who fought fascism.

Slovakian Embassy, Volgograd administration, and Parliament representative Irzhi Mashtalka organized this event in the library of Bratislava University.

The exhibition shows documents and photographs on key stages preceding World War 2 like signature of Munich agreement in 1938 and occupation of Poland, France and other countries by Germany.

There are also showpieces devoted to the very beginning of the war between USSR and the Third Reich, largest wartime operations as Stalingrad and Kursk battles, and also documents dedicated to Slovakia liberation by Soviet troops in 1944.

During this year the moving photo exhibition will be shown in all big Slovakia cities.
