Short Film Corner program in Cannes will include Marapuzza animation of Igor Garkushenko from Krasnodar region. The main character is the Cossack who dreams about a beautiful girl and looks for his love in his dreams. As a “vehicle” he uses an odd aircraft named Marapuzza.

The animation is based on Sergey Vorzjev’s paintings. The director animated his enchanting artworks. The soundtrack is recorded by Cuban Cossacks choir.

One of the most prestigious cinema forums will take place in Cannes for the 70th time.



Let us remind you that The Student by Kirill Serebrennikov received Franck Chalet Prize at the Cannes last year. This extraordinary film was introduced as a part of Un Certain Regard program.
