Association of Russian-speaking lawyers founded in the Northern Europe

A new noncommercial Association of Russian-speaking Lawyers of the Northern Countries was registered in Helsinki, as per website of World Coordination Council for Russian Compatriots living abroad.

The mission of the Association is consolidating efforts of expats planning to stand up for the rights and legitimate interests of Russian-speaking population. Its members intend to conduct legal activities in the Nordic countries and Finland. Among other priorities of the new legal entity, there is building firm contacts between Russian compatriots and state and nongovernmental institutions of the above-mentioned countries.

The Lawyers’ Association is also called for assistance in active professional and social work of their members. Legal advisors and social workers will be involved in various projects and programmes aimed at reinforcing friendship, trust and understanding between Russian compatriots and local population.
