Renewed Exhibit Kollektsia ! Contemporary Art in the USSR and Russia. 1950-2000 opened in Paris, TASS informs. More than 250 works of Soviet and Russian contemporary art were donated by several artists and their families, philanthropists and art collectors, among which the principal contribution was done by Vladimir Potanin Foundation. Thanks to them, Centre Pompidou hosts one of the most extensive Russian/Soviet art collections in Europe.

French curator Nikola Lucci-Gutnikov noted that the museum plans to expand Russian art collection. In particular, there’s a special interest in acquisition of artworks from 1920-30s, Leningrad non-conformists, and some of the contemporary artists' works.

Let us remind that the main part of the Pompidou exposition was opened in September, 2016. After the exhibition the artworks will not to go in the vaults but instead will make an addition to the conceptual art.
