Celebrated Russian musician Yuri Bashmet as a head of the festival, brought no less than three orchestras to participate in this favorite event in the Kuban region. Music loves will listen to Moscow Soloists Chamber orchestra, New Russia Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra of Chinese Traditional Instruments.

Yuri Bashmet himself participates in almost all events of the festival. He also invited his friends. Among them famous pianist Denis Matsuev and violinist Vadim Repin, established rock singer Diana Arbenina, Russian star actors and public figures Leonid Yarmolnik and Konstantin Khabenskiy, and many other distinguished guests.

Two world premiers were held in conjunction with the festival. Russian composer Kuzma Bodrov and his Japanese colleague Atushko Gondaya dedicated their concerts for viola and orchestra to the festival director, Yuri Bashmet.

It's worth noticing that the festival program is not limited to just academic music, but expands to ethnic, jazz and rock-music. For the first time festival presents the special program devoted to music, Russian language and literature for kids of various ages. On February, 21 young listeners with their parents are invited to see Ruslan and Liudmila music fairytale based on the Pushkin poem.

The 10th anniversary Winter Arts Festival will finish on February 26 with Gala Concert.
