Third Russian winter ball took place in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur Russian Compatriot Association together with Russian Centre of Science and Culture orginized 3d Russian Ball, RCSC informs

The event hosted 100 people. Among the attendees were Ambassador of Russia to Malaysia Valery Ermolov with the wife, diplomatic mission members, His Serene Highness Hereditary Prince Azudin Shakh with the wife, and many other public figures. 

At the beginning of the opening the Russian ball anthem was played. Afterwards, couples started waltzing. Music of favorite Russian composers, such as Tchaikovsky, Khachaturian, Borodin was played. There was also an improvised auction of traditional Russian household items and Gzhel souvenirs. 

The Russian Ball is one of the most significant events in the Malaysian capital. It attracts more and more Malaysians, which means the growing interest in the Russian culture.
