Russian artists works on show in Paris

The international yearly exhibition Art en Capital ("Art in the Capital") opened in Nave of the Grand Palais, Paris.

The Exhibition includes works of 2,500 artists. It is conducted under the personal patronage of the French President and Ministry of Culture and Communication of France. Several significant expositions used to be scattered across the time and place, hence were inconvenient for the art lovers. This time they are installed in one location.

There are French artists and Independent artists, showrooms of drawings, water colors and comparisons within the framework of the exhibition. Russian Academy of Arts became the honored guest of the French artists exhibit.

Oils, graphics and sculptures of the actual Academy members Zurab Tsereteli, Anatoliy Lubavin, Oleg Vulokov and some others are displayed separately.

The reciprocal the French Artists Show will take place in Moscow this summer as part of cultural exchange between our countries.
