Last night, a peaceful city suffered dozens of attacks from large-calibre weapons. Homes, where thousands of people live, were also attacked by multiple-launch rocket systems Hurricane and Grad.

“There can be no justification for the barbaric actions of the Kiev authorities in Donbass, I'm sure,” said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. She stressed that the shelling of residential neighborhoods in Donetsk goes against all the international obligations assumed by Ukraine, reports RIA Novosti.

As explained by Maria Zakharova, there are victims and wounded. Among the victims are small children. "These barbaric raids for which there is no excuse. Only vandals could bomb a sleeping city, destroy and shutter the lives of innocent people. We have no other determination of the people who performed this night raid," said Zakharova.
