Another Russian school opened by RUBRIC

11.10.2016

On 1 October, ahead of the World Teacher's Day, RUBRIC Russian School supported by the Russkiy Mir Foundation has opened a new school in Cirencester.

On this day, children and their parents have gathered to celebrate the Welcome day at the local Cirencester Primary school where classes of the Russian school will be taking place.

The RUBRIC teachers prepared a wonderful event with Russian dances, games and quizes.

Adults and children tried on the Russian traditional clothing and made photoes near a huge matreshka. Matreshka doll can be seen on a logo of the Rubric schools.

The culmination of the event was a performance by Elena Vilson, professional ballet dancer from St. Petersburg. Dressed in a traditionl Russian sarafan she danced to Tchaikovsky music. No doubt, dance classes shall become a part of the school's schedule.

After the celebration, students went to open classes, and Nadezhda Loginova, school's principal, talked to their parents and answered all of their questions.
