Russkiy Mir Foundation Gets Closer to Cadets

19.01.2016

“Greetings,” said fifth-grade students to the representatives of the Far East Branch of the Russkiy Mir Foundation during their visit to the Vladivostok Presidential Cadet School.

Alexander Zubritsky, director of the Far East Branch of the Russkiy Mir Foundation, gave a presentation on the Foundation for cadets and their teachers. He spoke about the Foundation’s priorities in 2016, noting the close cooperation between Russkiy Mir and the Asia-Pacific Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (ATAPRYAL).

Teachers, in their turn, talked about the specifics of the cadet school. “The military component is always present, be it during a Russian-language lesson or a trip to the cafeteria,” said a teacher of Russian language and literature. All teachers received the new issues of the Russkiy Mir.ru magazine, ATAPRYAL newspapers and the Russian Language School Dictionary. The participants asked the Foundation officials to continue supplying them with educational materials in the future.

Rear-Admiral Vladimir Burakov gave a tour of the school for representatives of the Russkiy Mir Foundation. He spoke to teachers and cadets who described their educational process as a combination of hard work, sports and great friendships.
