The leaders of Poland, Baltic countries as well as Sweden and Denmark snipe at Russian policy. This was claimed by European MP from Latvia, Tatiana Zdanoka, RIA “Novosti” reports.

She stressed that it is those countries who try to impose anti-Russian language on the other EU members, such as France, Germany and Greece in particular, who have a long standing friendly relationship with Russia.

Zdanoka pointed out that despite pressure from a number of other European MPs, they have repeatedly insisted not only on the promotion of EU interests, but also the establishment of rapport with Russia. The politician admitted with regret that such deputies were left in the minority.

It has been made public recently that MPs from ten European countries have applied to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for visa approval. Next month they intend to visit Russia. It is likely that they will also visit the Crimea.
