Exhibition “Give Me a Shawl” to Mark International Women’s Day

An exhibition entitled “Give Me a Shawl” will open on March 4 at the All-Russia Museum of Applied, Decorative and Folk Art in Moscow.

Organizers of the exhibition asked the leading designers and painters to create shawls especially for the occasion. The submitted works differ dramatically, thus reflecting a difference in designer’s vision of the topic. Among the displayed items will be a “shawl for mother”, a love message written on paper, an abstract message etc.

Among the invited designers are Andrey Bartenev, Konstantin Batynkov, Alexei Politov, Lavrenti Bruni, Viktor Ribas, Tatiana Antoshina etc.

The exhibition will run from March 5 till April 5.
