Moscow to Host an Exhibition “Arts of Vologda Land”

February 10 will see the opening of an exhibition “Arts of Vologda Land” at the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 (Moscow). The exhibition is devoted to the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) and runs in the context of a long-term project “Geography of Victory” initiated by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the government of Vologda region.

Apart from the war-related history of Vologda, which was a vital transport hub and a logistics coordination center during the WW II, the exhibition is intended to promote traditional arts of this region. The exhibition will run till April 20.
