“Memories of the Heart” in Armenia

Within the framework of the "Memories of Hearts" campaign organized by the Russian Center in cooperation with the Student Council and the Student Scientific Society of the Department of Russian Philology at Yerevan State University in Armenia, public lectures about the war, accompanied by films, were held on April 19-20 at the village schools in Noyakert and May Vedi in the Ararat Region.

The lectures were given by students Lianna Dumanian, Asthik Chichakian and Susanna Ziroyan. L. Dumanian talked about the event and gave a presentation of the Russian Center activities. A. Chichakian gave a lecture on the topic – “The Theme of the Great Patriotic War in Literature.” Then senior pupils watched the film called “A Man’s Destiny,” and discussed it with S. Ziroyan.

School headmasters expressed their wish for similar events to be organized regularly, and the activists of the Russian Center promised to hold such activities regularly.
