Russian Compatriots to Gather in Moscow

The World Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots will hold its next meeting in Moscow, the website Russky Vek reports.

The participants will discuss events scheduled for 2013, regional compatriot conferences, the creation of a concept for the conference Compatriots and Their Contribution to World Culture, prospects for interaction between compatriot organizations through the internet, interaction between compatriot coordination councils and the Foundation for Support ant Protection of the Legal Rights of Compatriots, and much more.

The World Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots is a collegial organ of the World Compatriots Congress, which is convened once every three years and represents the interests of the multi-million Russian community living abroad. The coordination council included 25 representatives of compatriot organizations from various countries around the world.
