Russian Women Win European Water Polo Title

Russian women have become European Water Polo champions the third time in four years after beating the Greeks 11-6 in Friday's final showdown in Zagreb, Voice of Russia reports. Russia's men’s team ended up in 11th place and will not be able to go to the 2011 world championships.

They still have a chance to make it to the 2012 Olympics, but only if they do well in the World League 2011.
