Pushkin Fine Art Museum Hosts Its First Exhibition of Joan Miro

09.06.2010

The Pushkin Fine Arts Museum in Moscow is for the first time hosting an exhibition of works by a famous Spanish artist Joan Miro, Voice of Russia reports.

The exhibition consists of 10 prints of the Mallorca series. Only 50 prints were produced, which is why they are rarely shown in museums exhibits. The painter who is known for his experimental style turned to the graphic arts in 1920 while living in Paris and from that time on graphic arts occupied a central place in his work.
