Five More Cities of Military Honour in Russia

Five more Russian cities have been granted the status of the cities of military honor, ITAR-TASS reported. On Tuesday in Kremlin President Dmitri Medvedev is to grant the certificates of the cities of military honor to the representatives of Volokolamsk, Bryansk, Nalchik, Vyborg and Kalach-on-Don.  The ceremony in Kremlin will be attended by the war veterans and representatives of youth organizations. Now there are 27 cities of military honor in Russia. This status is given to the cities which residents fought bravely in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
