Russia’s Patriarch Considers Great Patriotic War Victory Essential

The Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill considers the Victory in the Great Patriotic War essential for uniting all peoples of the former Soviet Union, the Voice of Russia reports. Kirill stated this when meeting the president of Transdniestria Igor Smirnov in Moscow, Thursday. Kirill said there would be no Russia and the majority of the post-Soviet countries without the Victory.
