Russia and South Korea to Bolster Technological Cooperation

Moscow and Seoul have agreed to set up a Russian scientific center in the South Korean capital, with a relevant memorandum of understanding signed by both sides on Monday, Voice of Russia reports. The move comes amid celebrations to mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and South Korea, where the state-of-the-art center will soon be built. It will comprise a host of leading Russian research institutes and those with the Russian Academy of Sciences in what experts say will greatly enhance relations between the two countries. The financing of the project will be implemented on a parity basis, according to the memorandum.
